As a female founded and run business, ESP take great pride in the advancement of our female workforce. It is important to us that the women in our organisation feel empowered in their role, given the opportunity to further their education, and take the next steps in their career.
All women in every workplace should feel that they have, and indeed, deserve a seat at the table. Bridging the gender gap is everyone’s responsibility and it is important for women to feel that they have male allies, not only in their place of work, but in life in general.
Whether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead. Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.
